Link Between Skyrim?
Hey guys. Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday. I'm trying to get a post up every Wednesday, but I think I'm going to try posting once a week. So anyway lets get started. Nintendo is one of my favorite game companies and have created many iconic games. They've made Pokemon, Mario, Kirby, and my favorite, Zelda. The Legend of Zelda first came out in 1986, and has gone through quite a lot of changes since then. The newest game, set to come out tomorrow for the 3DS, is a sequel to the 1991 game Link to the Past, called Link Between Worlds. The game is set in the same over world map of its predecessor, but still has a few minor differences. The only thing I'm not to happy about is the fact that there is no specific order in which you go through the dungeons. If you've played any of the series, you know that in order to reach a dungeon, you have to complete the previous dungeon. In Link Between Worlds, you have the option of renting items that you need and using them until you give them back or die, in which case you lose those items until you rent them back or actually earn them in their respective dungeons. Another cool feature is the ability to become flat and move on flat surfaces as a wall painting. Although the game is set in the overhead view most of us know, turning into the painting causes the camera angle to allow you to see a full view of your self as well as other aspects of the world that you wouldn't be able to see otherwise. Another amazing feature is battling via Street Pass. Using Street Pass, you can fight against another player in an arena where you use the items you currently have equipped and the amount of health you already have. When you win, you earn the opponents bounty, (not sure what that is for), and they lose that much. What I like is that for one thing, you don't have to accept the battle, and two your opponent looks like Shadow Link. I don't know if you can only have one-on-one battles or what but it's a really neat concept that might make Zelda more popular or less popular. Write in the comments what your favorite Zelda game is, and have a great day!
